What
drives me

I was raised bilingually. My father comes from North Hesse, a place that regularly seems to be cloaked in cold, wet weather and where people tend to be reserved. My mother’s family, however, hail from Cévennes and Marseille, in France’s hot and sunny south east, where the locals speak loudly and with their hands.

In my free time, I’m always eager to discover new things, to see the world from different perspectives and to keep on learning. At the moment I’m learning Turkish, a fascinating language. And I also love contrasts: I’ve been a keen flamenco dancer for years but I recently decided to take up kickboxing.
